Because some days, you just need cheater-pants cinnamon
rolls. These recipes come from The Vegan Family Cookbook by Brian P. McCarthy. It’s a simple
enough idea: turn your stand-by biscuits into a treat.
I usually half this recipe. You can see my scribbles in the
margin. That's for when I'm making something like biscuits and gravy. This dough needs to be a little wetter, so use 1 3/4 cups of flour if you're halving it.
The icing is pretty basic.
POWDERED SUGAR ICING
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon almond milk (or milk of your choosing)
Combine. Frost your cooled goodies (otherwise it will just run off the sides). Let them stand
while the icing hardens.
